Sticky Date & Soy Chicken Nibbles
Makes 1KG chicken nibbles
Prep Time 10 minutes plus marinating time
Cooking Time 25-30 minutes
¼ cup soy sauce
¼ cup Cinderella Date Syrup
1 tsp minced fresh ginger
2 cloves garlic, crushed
1Kg chicken nibbles
- Whisk together soy sauce, Cinderella Date Syrup, ginger and garlic in a bowl. Pour into a lasagne style dish or lidded plastic container. Add chicken nibbles and toss to coat in the marinade. Cover and place in the fridge. Marinate for 1 hour or upto 12 hours if wished.
- Preheat oven to 190°C. Place the marinated chicken nibbles on a baking paper lined oven tray in a single layer, reserving remaining marinade. Cook for 25-30 minutes, (basting every 10 minutes with the reserved marinade ) until chicken is cooked. Place on a serving platter and garnish with toasted sesame seeds if wished before serving.
Alternatively cook the marinated chicken nibbles on the BBQ over a medium heat, basting and turning regularly for 25-30 minutes or until chicken is cooked.
