Ingredients
1 cup wholemeal flour
1tsp baking powder
1 cup jumbo oats
½ cup brown sugar
½ cup desiccated thread coconut
1 cup Cinderella Raisins
½ cup chocolate chips
150g butter, melted
1 egg, beaten
Method
- To make the dry cookie dough in the jar as a gift – simply layer the dry ingredients in this order: brown sugar, wholemeal flour & baking powder, chocolate chips, jumbo oats, coconut and topped with Cinderella Raisins. Seal jar tightly and consumer within 1 month. Attach the recipe to the jar and fasten with a ribbon.
- Preheat oven to 180°C (fan assisted). Place dry ingredients into a mixing bowl.
- Stir in melted butter and beaten egg. Place spoonfuls onto baking paper lined baking trays. Flatten lightly.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes until golden and cooked. Leave on the trays for 5 minutes before transferring to a baking rack to cool. Once cold store in an airtight container.
