Hotcakes with Date Syrup

1 ¼ cups flour
2 tsp baking powder
1 ½ Tbsp sugar
2 eggs
1 cup milk
Cinderella Date Syrup


  1. Sift flour and baking powder into a mixing bowl and stir in the sugar.
  2. Whisk together eggs and milk and beat into the dry ingredients to make a smooth batter.
  3. Grease a non- stick frying pan and gently heat. Drop ¼ cup of batter into the pan. Cook over a low to moderate heat turning the hotcakes when bubbles appear and break on the surface. Turn and cook a further minute until golden and cooked. Keep warm while cooking remaining mixture. Serve hotcakes warm with Cinderella Date Syrup
