Makes 2 onions
Cooking Time 15-20 mins
1 ½ Tbsp olive oil
2 medium onions, peeled and sliced
1 ½ Tbsp brown sugar
1 Tbsp vinegar
- Heat the oil in a deep frying pan over a low heat. Add the onions and cook gently over a low heat for 15-20 minutes, stirring occasionally until they soften and go a golden colour.
- Add brown sugar and vinegar and continue cooking over a low heat until the onions are sticky and the sugar has dissolved and vinegar reduced.
- Serve with the sausages, Cinderella Instant Mashed Potatoes, green peas and gravy.
